I read a post this morning about a Mommy and her son and how she helped him after he met Anger for the first time. It reminded me of the first time I met Anger ... Some don't meet Anger until you're older. When there is no Mommy or Daddy to help you clean up your mess. When you'd give anything to hear that the worst part is over now. No one to hold you, to love you through it, to teach you how to handle it. When I was introduced to Anger I was in my 30's. Up until that age I was afraid, even afraid of ever meeting Anger. Anger showed up and with it came every face of hurt I'd ever seen. I was alone with Anger but The Lord was with me through it all. He scooped me up, he whispered that He always knew this time would come and He had a plan for me and for all those I had hurt too. He would help me, I had no idea how exceedingly, abundantly ... He would not only help me but propel me on and on and on! He taught me how to forgive everyone, even myself, He taught me how to love and receive love. How to overcome rejection without anger, how to not be afraid, how to go on with joy. Because of the finished work of Jesus Christ I am free!!! God has a plan for each of us even after we meet Anger! Even after we make a mess! Can you truly live with no regrets? If you know the truth ... Jesus took our sorrows, our griefs, our shame, our regrets!!! Thank Him by living free! There is a book called "Living With No Regrets" by Greg Fritz. Scripture after Scripture he shows forth why we, as God's children, should enjoy what Jesus did for us on the Cross and His Resurrection! I know many Christians that think they must punish their own self for all they've ever done wrong. I know many that died too soon from that wrong belief. To understand is JOY!!! Thank You Jesus!!! John 8:32-36 There is a chapter in this book ... his wife's testimony about how she fell asleep while driving ... her first husband and middle daughter died in the accident. God helped her through and she is now one of the most joyful people ever!!! She learned to apply the finished work of Jesus to her life!!!
